Both Deer and House
Mice breed year round indoors and out. As cold weather
sets in, mice outdoors probe the exterior perimeter
of buildings at night seeking shelter for the winter.
Outdoors, they feed on insects, grains, and bird seed.
They follow pipes, holes in the foundation, and any
other opening they can find to enter a building. Once
inside, they forage for food, such as dead insects,
kitchen scraps, and pantry items, primarily at night.
Once established indoors, they investigate their territory
multiple times a night looking for food.
Although some consider mice to be cute, they defecate
and urinate throughout their indoor territories. Some
serious diseases of humans are associated with mouse
infestations. As cute as they might be, they are unwelcomed
guests in buildings. Amendt Pest Control State-certified
sales and service technicians are on call to eliminate
mouse infestations and offer service and recommendations
for preventing mouse ingress.
